The Talent Behind DSM

Macdara Wrynne . 

Managing Director

As Founder & MD, Macdara oversees all operations of DSM Distribution. He holds overall responsibility for the development, growth and direction of DSM with a focus on the sales & marketing function and new channel and vendor relationships.

After graduation from UCD with a Bachelor of Business & Legal Studies (BBLS) Degree, Macdara held high level sales roles in FMCG (Masterfoods) & Dell Computers before co-founding successful IBM reseller, Parity Networks in 2002. Due to the frustrating experiences garnered with the “status quo” IT Distributors in Ireland he established & nurtured a global network of trusted suppliers which led him to establishing DSM Distribution in 2010. His goal was to better serve the needs of the VAR channel in Ireland by addressing their key criteria for buying IT products & services - Price, availability & credit!

Macdara’s core focus is helping customers sell more and maximise their margins while improving their overall buying experience. DSM enable vendors to access the Irish VAR / Integrator market through strategic sales & marketing activities.

David Jones . 

Sales Director

As Sales Director David oversees and ensures smooth running of all the daily operation of the business along with managing our very strong and experienced sales team.

David started with DSM as an Account Manager at inception in 2010. He was soon promoted to sales director, growing revenues from €2m to €7m+ currently. His core focus is cementing our strong relationships with Vendors and Resellers and upholding DSM's reputation as ‘Distributor of Choice’ within the Irish IT marketplace.

Martin Butler.

Sales Manager

Martin brings a wealth of sales experience in the ICT sector. With over 20 years’ experience ranging from IT part sales to VAR sales/Distributor sales, he deeply understands resellers considerations in the buying process. His approach is extremely customer focused, and he is skilled in both building solutions and technical support.

He holds both a BSc. in Information Technology & an MSc. in Distributed and Mobile Computing.

Vivienne Neeson.

Partner Sales Executive

Vivienne has been looking after clients in the IT industry for over 25 years. She is exceptionally customer focused and is heavily involved in developing DSM customer service strategies.

As Partner Sales Executive she is a core member of our sales team. Vivienne holds a HDip, Level 8 in Sales Coaching.

Jonathan O’Grady.

Senior Business Development Executive

Jonathan is a highly motivated and experienced sales professional within the IT sector. He has strong attention to detail with a proven ability to work extremely well with customers, drive customer needs and provides exceptional customer service. Jonathan holds a BSc. in Business Studies from the Institute of Technology Sligo.

Lyn Aspland.

Finance Manager

As an invaluable member of our team Lyn is responsible for the daily financial aspects of DSM Distribution.

With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, Lyn ensures that we stay up to date with the latest financial trends and new technologies to drive efficiencies in our financial operations.
